Customer service

Without Advanced Pressure Management, the pressure supplied to customers may vary considerably both during the day and from day to day. There is the risk that, from time to time, it will fall outside acceptable limits. Low pressure will result in 'no water' complaints and the possible malfunction of appliances that rely on particular levels of water pressure to operate, such as some hot water boilers. Too high a pressure may result in reverberation of pipes, difficulty in maintaining the correct temperature on shower mixer valves, cavitation on water taps and increased risk of bursts in domestic water systems.
